TRAMA:
Gatta Cenerentola è il crudele soprannome affibbiato alla piccola Mia dalle sorellastre nella rivisitazione moderna e partenopea della fiaba classica di Giambattista Basile. Figlia di don Vittorio Basile, uomo di grande ingegno che aveva il progetto di trasformare Napoli in una virtuosa città della scienza, Mia è rimasta orfana dopo che Salvatore Lo Giusto detto "'o Rre" (Massimiliano Gallo), capoclan del riciclaggio, ha ammazzato suo padre con l'aiuto della bella e letale Angelica Carannante (Maria Pia Calzone), promessa sposa di Basile. Da quel momento la ragazzina è costretta a vivere in una nave da crociera dismessa nel porto di Napoli, insieme con la perfida matrigna e i sei dispotici fratellastri, covando in silenzio la vendetta: uccidere Salvatore ‘o Rre e liberare per sempre se stessa e la sua città. Anche Primo Gemito (Alessandro Gassmann), ex uomo della scorta di Basile, porta avanti il progetto parallelo di riportare la legalità nel porto di Napoli e sottrarre Cenerentola dalle grinfie di Angelica.
STORYLINE:
Cenerentola struggles to escape the shadow and evil schemes of her stepmother and six stepsisters who all live aboard the Megaride, a ship stuck in the port of a decaying future Naples.
