L’incubo di ogni maschio single sta per materializzarsi in una nuovissima serie tv: l'incontro di una ragazza bella e intelligente, dal sorriso dolce e birichino allo stesso tempo, che parla con quell’accento straniero irresistibile e che fa pensare alle vacanze e a una vita di avventure insieme.
Tutto sembra perfetto, il solo istinto che sorge è quello di conquistarla, e la cosa incredibile è che anche lei sembra colpita dal tuo fascino, dote che nemmeno sapevi di possedere.
La passione è travolgente e l’amore quasi immediato, lei è oggettivamente la ragazza perfetta, senza problemi e, cosa assai importante, non si lamenta mai di niente, nemmeno quando vuoi guardare la partita in televisione.
La decisione da prendere a questo punto è solo una: sposarla. Non importa se la vostra conoscenza è relativamente scarsa, qui c'è stato il palese zampino del destino, e, in più, lei piace molto anche ai tuoi genitori!
Ma tutto non può essere così perfetto, e, infatti, pochi mesi dopo, la tua carta di credito risulta bloccata, la casa è vuota e i soldi nella cassaforte sono scomparsi. Resta solo un biglietto, poi un messaggio sul computer, e scopri che quella ragazza così meravigliosa era in realtà una truffatrice che, con un inganno lungo quasi due anni, ti ha ripulito di tutto.
Come ha fatto? Sono andate davvero così le cose o c'è di più?
Questa nuovissima serie tv saprà rispondere a tutte queste domande, vantando un cast che vede: Inbar Lavi (Maddie), Rob Heaps (Ezra Bloom), Parker Young (Richard Evans), Marianne Rendòn (Jules) e tanti altri!
