Plot:
Alex is meeting his soon to be ex-wife Ingrid, and wants to give the impression that he is still down on his luck instead of living in a penthouse with Diane. Therefore he gets his downstairs neighbor Vittorio to lend him his messy studio. Unfortunately, Vittorio's wife Marilù is passed out drunk in the bedroom as Ingrid and Alex find themselves still attracted to one another. Also a shady businessman arrives on the scene to make a deal with Alex and is send to the wrong apartment.

Trama:
La vita di Alex è in mano alla moglie Diana che tiene i cordoni della borsa. Alex decide allora di tentare il colpo grosso per liberarsi: un accordo, all'insaputa della moglie, col commendator Bonotto. Ma arriva Ingrid, la sua prima moglie e Alex per farsi credere povero si fa prestare l'appartamento dall'amico Vic. Nell'appartamento però era rimasta Marilù che Alex prende per la moglie di Vic. A forza di equivoci si arriverà, con tutti i protagonisti, nell'attico di Diana e il gran finale avrà inizio, con sorpresa felina finale.
