Adapted from a popular comic book, this story centers on mild-mannered research scientist Dr. David Bruce Banner, who, after being exposed to an overdose of gamma radiation, morphs into a ferocious, gigantic green man when he becomes agitated. As Banner looks for ways to reverse his condition, he travels from town to town helping those in need -- even as persistent reporter Jack McGee stalks him.
In the second season of the classic action series, Dr. David Banner (Bill Bixby) continues his long, lonely quest to rid himself of the angry creature that lurks within him: the Incredible Hulk (Lou Ferrigno). And always on his trail is that pesky tabloid reporter Jack McGee (Jack Colvin). The season starts with an explosive two-parter in which David weds a hypnotherapist (Mariette Hartley) after a brief courtship, only to learn her dark secret.

Season 2 episode 19: 'Kindred Spirits'
David 'Barton' joins an expedition that has found evidence of a pre-historic Hulk and is recognized by a young doctor who was inspired by him. Together they try to find out if the earlier Hulk might have found a cure.
Season 2 episode 20: 'The Confession'
McGee reluctantly takes on an intern as his assistant, who takes an interest in a lonely little man claiming to be the Hulk. David 'Beeman' worries if the man might actually know his secret identity.
Season 2 episode 21: 'The Quiet Room'
David 'Balin' is working as an orderly at Valley View Sanatorium. After discovering that a surgeon is using experimental mind control, he unwillingly becomes a patient himself.
Season 2 episode 22: 'Vendetta Road'
David 'Brennan' inadvertently joins up with a modern day 'Bonnie & Clyde' who blow up gas stations in a bid to avenge the death of the male's father.
