Summary:

Sabine De Barra is tuinarchitecte aan het paleis van Versailles. Ze heeft weinig oog voor de klassieke ontwerpen van de man die haar heeft aangenomen, de beroemde architect Le Notre. Maar terwijl ze aan haar creaties werkt voelt ze zichzelf aangetrokken tot de enigmatische Le Notre. Bovendien moet ze leren omgaan met de gevaarlijke wedijver en ingewikkelde etiquette aan het hof van Louis XIV. Maar dankzij haar eerlijkheid en haar medeleven zal ze alle obstakels overwinnen en in de gunst vallen van de Zonnekoning en Le Notre.
