The Motifs - (2008) Cross Paths (vinyl FLAC)
Only 200 copies of this LP were pressed. To make it listenable (for me), I used ClickRepair with the wavlet algorithm at 15 strength, both forward and reverse modes. Any remaining clicks, I removed with Audition. The distortion on track 3 is what it is. The LP sounds that way.
Deep bass is an issue with vinyl (needle skips), and unfortunately the cutting engineer had to roll off the low end... so the awesome deep bass the other CDR, M4A, and MP3 releases have isn't on this release. Away has a few of the same songs, and you can compare and note the deep bass is missing (some Away tracks have strong bass as low as 32Hz). As Cross Paths has some of the best Motif songs ever recorded IMO and not on any other release, I would love to hear this sourced from the original master.
According to Discogs, a few CDRs of this were sold at the album release show. If anyone has it, please do share (if you're not an uploader, I can seed it for you).
